• ORDERING INFORMATION •

Be sure to update your selections on ordering pages before navagating elsewhere, so that everything will be included in your order.  You can always view your cart to change anything before checking out. Hint - Look for the mouse icon: for informational mouse-over messages.

You are ordering a "kit": A Kit of components for a single tag design.  To order just a single tag, you only need to select the parts of what you want for this tag kit, and enter the total quantity of "1" of all parts selected.  You then get one of each component. If you order, say, five kits, then you will get five of everything you have selected.  If you wish to order additional Chains or Silencers, or need S-Hooks, or Key Rings, please visit our Accessories Page at any time to add them to your Order.  You may order up to 99 different Dog Tag Kits on a single order. If you want to order a "Military Set" as the contents of a kit, then you should put in your kit: enter up to 5 lines of text, with a single hole, and no MedSym.  Select s/s-matte metal, with black silencer and a long&short s/s Chain Pair.  Enter a quantity of two, and you have a standard Military Set. For bulk ordering, you only need to select what you want, and enter your large quantity.  The bulk ordering quantity discount will be automatically applied when you add this kit to your cart. All Alphabetical (A-Z) and all numeric (0-9) are allowed, and spaces count as a character.  In addition, these special characters are allowed too:   ! @ # $ & ( - ) : < , > .

• When choosing six lines of text, you may want to select the Clear Silencer, or none at all, as the text will be partially hidden under the silencer on lines one and six.
  
  
• When selecting a six line tag, the 1st and 6th line must be limited to 15 characters on those lines so your text will fit inside the curves of the tag metal.  Spaces also count as a character.  All other lines, and on five line tags, 16 characters per line are acceptable. (Except MedSym Embossed Tags.)
  
  
• When selecting a Medical Symbol Embossed metal, you cannot fit more than 10 characters next to the Medical Symbol on the last three lines of text. (Lines 4,5,6 on a six line tag, and lines 3,4,5 on a 5 formatted line tag.)
  
  
• Some metals have a two-hole version available, great for equipment identification or riveted on flat type dog collars, straps, etc. prevents "dangling" and the "clinking noise".
  
  
• Choose 3,4,5 or 6 line formatting.  This will adjust the vertical spacing and placement of your text on the dog tag.  Try different selections to see the differences.  Be careful though, as selecting fewer lines than you have entered text for, will erase some of it and you will have to re-enter the text.
  
  
• You can also indicate to our embossing operators how you would like to have your entry placed on the tag.  Select "As Is" to have it exactly the way you have it, or indicate that you would like them to adjust it with their experience for "Best Look" or "Centered" taking into consideration silencers, medical symbol and/or two hole tag material.

• Silencers: Eight colors - Army Green, Military Black, DayGlow Green, DayGlow Orange, DayGlow Yellow, Royal Blue, Clearly Clear and Medical Red.
  
  
• Chains: Beaded Chains come in two lengths - long (24"), short (4.5") and both are #3 ball size.  Our Stainless Steel (S/S) chain set is the standard for Military Dog Tag Sets.
  
  
• S - Hooks: "S" Hooks are mainly for attaching ID Tags to dog collars, etc.
• Split Rings: One inch diameter split rings, for use on pet tags, key-rings, zipper pulls, etc.
• Split-Rivets: Split-Rivets are mainly for attaching two hole ID Tags to flat dog collars, eliminates dangling tags.
• S/S  Cables: Stainless Steel (S/S) cable and aluminum crimping ferrules to securely attach tags to your luggage, or other non-removable items.
  
  
• Blank Tags: Available in 7 different Colors. Medical Symbol not available on any blank tags.

Most all of our tag parts and accessories are offered with our Continual Volume Order Discounting Equation.  Most ordering pages only show the normal unit prices.  When you View Your Cart, you will see your Volume Discount Savings.  No matter how many you chose to buy, there is always a discount.  Example: The base price on a custom tag is about $7.00, but the second one is only $3.00, making a typical 2 tag set base price at $5.00 per tag plus extras.  The more you buy, the more you save on every item.  Even the Silencers and Chains are discounted in each one of your Dog Tag Kits.

Shipping is FREE on all orders, however we do charge $1.00 for the packaging material on orders less than $15.  When you compare our prices with others, with what seem to be lower prices, check out their shipping add-ons!  We come out much better than they do.  Add in our continually increasing Volume Discounting Equation on any quantity over one, and you will realize this is the best place to buy your Military Dog Tags for every reason, and every season.
